Any act of manipulation of Patient’s data, such as but not limited to collecting and processing will be done by respecting Personal data protection law (Sl. glasnik RS, br. 97/2008, 104/2009 - dr. zakon, 68/2012 - odluka US i 107/2012) and other applicable legal provisions such as General Data Protection Regulation GDPR. Patient can access Rent a dent’s Services without any of his or hers personal data being collected. Anyhow, in order to ensure stable Service functionality Rent a dent may record Patient’s IP address. In any case, Rent a dent will not use this data for marketing or promo activities of third parties or let third party use this information unless required by law. By creating account on our website we will process the data provided by you in order to create and manage it and to enable you to use the services associated with your customer account. The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. This data will be stored until your account is deleted or unless we are legally required to hold onto the above mentioned data (legal disputes for eg).

In accordance with traditional medical practice, Rent a dent requires provisioning of certain information about, but not limited to: Patient’s medical history, dental hygiene, general health etc which are crucial for creating Patients account or providing Service to the Patient by a Dentist.

Likewise, in order to provide requested service to the Patient Rent a dent may request provisioning certain files, by uploading them to the web platform, such as but not limited to x - ray scans, 3d imaging, dental records etc.

Rent a dent will not use above mentioned information in any other purpose except providing Dentist with mandatory data for providing their services, unless Patient gave explicit consent or it was required by a law.

To fulfil these purposes, the User data will be stored in compliance with tax and trade law requirements as well as GDPR but will be deleted after said periods have expired.

When using additional services provided by Rent a dent Patient agrees for his or hers personal data to be collected, processed and used by Rent a dent and or Rent a dent’s special services partner providers with all respect to the Personal data protection law (Sl. glasnik RS, br. 97/2008, 104/2009 - dr. zakon, 68/2012 - odluka US i 107/2012) and other applicable legal provisions such as GDPR, with the purpose of providing service requested by Patient. Patient agrees that his or hers personal data such as but not limited to contact data that may be used by Rent a dent with the purpose of sending information about platform, services, new features, offers and promotion via email, sms etc. Patient may request for Rent a dent to stop receiving above mentioned type of updates by sending email to privacy@rentadent.org.

Rent a dent will not share any personal data provided by Patient except if it is mandatory for provisioning of the Services,required by the applicable law or in case when enforcing terms and conditions is mandatory, in case of security and or technical issues and when protection against haring the Rent a dent’s rights.

Patient may, at any moment refuse collecting or his or hers personal data by sending email to privacy@rentadent.org

In case that Rent a dent change its ownership structure or suffer of insolvency or bankruptcy its assets may be transferred by any means to the third party and new privacy policy may be in place. Rent a dent will inform Patient in case of such event.

Rent a dent may also handle and manipulate, and share aggregated information (information about the Patients which can’t be referenced or connected to single Patient) and non-personal data for industry and market analysis, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and other business wise means.

The Patient consents that Rent a dent may collect, store and use the personal data and specific personal data which is submitted as part of the request for the following purposes of:

To Rent a dent perform several processes on communication between Patient and Dentist such as but not limited to revision, scanning, analyse etc either manually or automatically for purposes of preventing fraudulent activities risk assessment, compliance checking, Patient support etc.

Patient has every right to withdraw from any request made that may require collecting and managing personal data.

Other Data:

A log file (containing, inter alia, origin of the request, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred) is created with whenever Rent a dent’s website is visited and every time a file is accessed. This data may be used for statistical purposes and it cannot be connected to the special patient. Rent a dent will collect and store anonymous data which can only be used for optimising service provisioning process or marketing such as but not limited to anonymous Patient profiles or on Patient behaviour also know as cookies. Acceptance of cookies is not mandatory and it can be disabled in browser settings.
